Whether a customer requires our premium quality solid fuels or our highly regarded skip hire/waste management facilities, Our aim is to provide a prompt, reliable and friendly service at all times.
We also stock and sell a selection of excellent quality, British-made stoves and a large variety of spare parts and accessories for all appliances.
We are Located on Byron Avenue on the Lowmoor Road Industrial Estate,Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
Everyone is welcome to visit our yard for advice or enquiries on any of our services.

Our History
We are a local, family-run business established in Sutton-in-Ashfield in 1976, although our roots as coal merchants can be traced back to 1902 when Mrs.Eleanor Syson (Roger's Grandmother) began supplying coal from her premises in Kirkby-in-Ashfield to the local area.
Some time around the 1920's Maurice Syson (Roger's father) took over the business from his mother, and moved location to Stuart Street, Sutton-in-Ashfield where he expanded the business, delivering coal by horse & cart to the local families for many years to come.
Roger continued to expand the business from the yard in Stuart Street in 1976, moving location 4 years later to our current site at Byron Avenue, gradually developing the yard as it is today.
Therefore, our customers can rest assured that we provide a service that has been relied upon by generations of people in our area for over 100 years.
We are an APPROVED COAL MERCHANT, as part of the Approved Coal Merchant Scheme operated by the Coal Merchants Federation.
